David Horsburgh is a London-based Creative Director, VFX Supervisor and live-action Director, with a background in animation, motion design and visual effects.

He currently heads the Post-Production department at BAFTA-winning Agile Films, leading a multidisciplinary team of producers, VFX artists and editors across commercials, branded content and feature film. His role spans creative development, pitching and budgeting through to on-set supervision, artist direction and final delivery.

David has VFX supervised three feature films, including the forthcoming horror musical Stuffed, starring Jodie Comer and Harry Melling. Alongside his feature work, he has led VFX and post-production for clients including Amazon, Meta, Nike, Samsung, Realme and OnePlus.

As a live-action director, David has directed more than 15 commercials, shooting in London, Los Angeles, Barcelona, Cape Town and Kyiv. His experience on both sides of production allows him to consider VFX from the beginning of a project—finding creative solutions that are ambitious, practical and grounded in the filmmaking process.

With hands-on experience across 3D, compositing, motion graphics and emerging AI workflows, David combines a detailed understanding of the craft with the ability to lead teams, shape ideas and communicate a clear creative vision.
